Diana was found with a broken back on a rural road in Oklahoma
An ACO in rural Oklahoma called us about a little dog that had just been picked up after a call. Found scared, painful, and unable to move the ACO called us knowing we take in special needs dogs. We got Diana and took her to the vet where they did an x-ray and found that her back had been snapped in half, upwards. Also suffering with a bladder infection and dry eye we believe Diana may have been kicked and dumped in the middle of the road hoping someone would hit her. It would have been impossible for her to get there herself. Diana's recovery is going to be long and expensive. If Diana is a good candidate for surgery, we will have to do it within 30 days. The surgery alone will cost $3,000 not including chiropractic therapy, laser therapy, a wheelchair, and medication.
